- This is my favorite drawing. Abeer is less purtian about her colors than her colleagues (or siblings). Here she displays her virtuosity with the cool color palette, dabbling shades of blue green and indigo on grass, flowers and skies alike.
- The pheasant is not a native bird of Iraq, but the yellow sparrow is.
